The 6U League is for boys and girls ages 5 and 6 as of March 7, 2026. Games will be played on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Practices will be mainly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, however the head coach may choose to go on any day that works best for them.
Players are required to have their own glove, rubber cleats or tennis shoes, and baseball pants. The coach may want specific-colored pants so we encourage parents to wait until their coach contacts them to purchase pants.
The City of Port Orange will provide helmets and bats as well as a jersey and hat for all players. Players may choose to wear their own helmet and use their own bat but must only wear City issued jersey and hat with no alterations.
IMPORTANT DATES

If you are interested in being a Volunteer Head coach this season, we will be having a coaches meeting on Tuesday, January 27th at 6:00 pm at Lakeside Community Center 1999 City Center Circle, Port Orange.. Please email dcotoia@port-orange.org with your interest and/or submit your name, email, and phone number under the question about coaching during registration.
There will be no placements for this league.
