Food trucks are able to apply for a permit to setup and sell at Port Orange Parks, based on availability. Only food trucks and trailers are eligible. Vendors must have prior approval from the Parks & Recreation Department before submitting their reservation. RULES AND REGULATIONS

Applications, Payments and Cancellations

1. Applications must be received prior to the date requested, but no more than 30 days in advance. Applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

2. The full vendor fee is due upon application.

3. Cancellations must be received in writing. To receive a full refund of the vendor fee, written notification must be received within 3 days of the date of use.

4. Cancellations received with less than 3 days' notice, but before the date of use will be eligible to reschedule at no penalty.

5. Refund requests due to weather will be considered if the vendor was never on site during the scheduled time and there was confirmed poor weather conditions.



Food Vendor Guidelines

1. All food vendors must file a permit with the City of Port Orange Parks and Recreation Dept. Sub-leasing is prohibited.

2. No heavy equipment will be brought into any City facility without the expressed written consent of the City. Food vendors must provide photos of their vending equipment and setup prior to the date of use.

3. Food vendors are responsible for the cleanup of the facility and may be charged for excessive cleanup incurred by the Parks and Recreation Department once the vendor has vacated the premises. The vendor agrees to remove any trash, equipment, decorations, props, etc. at the termination of their permit. The vendor agrees to pay any costs associated with the storage, moving or disposal of such items and holds harmless the City for any damage, which may occur during the moving or storage of items. Permanent attachment of props or decorations to parks fixtures by using screws, nails etc. is prohibited.

4. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in all City facilities without the express written consent of the City Manager, or his designee.

5. Profanity or unacceptable behavior by food vendors will not be tolerated. If Parks and Recreation personnel deem behavior unacceptable, they have the right to revoke all permits, present and future, for this facility and terminate any and all activities.

6. The City holds the right to cancel or terminate any permit if they feel that the public's safety is in jeopardy. The permit will be terminated should it create or cause any violation of Local, State, Federal laws or ordinances.

7. Amplified sound is not permissible during the times of 10pm-7am as deemed by the City noise ordinance without the express written consent of the City Manager, or his designee.

8. Power and water access is not available to food vendors at any location.

9. The licensee is only guaranteed reserved access to the area indicated on the rental application. Other areas of the park may be reserved for other parties or events at the same time. All pavilions are open to the public unless they are rented. Pavilion rentals may have 1 other food vendor on site during their rental time.

10. The licensee is only guaranteed the times indicated on the rental application. Times should include set-up and clean up.

11. Parks are not regularly staffed. Food vendors will be given a receipt to be used as proof of permit which will include important phone numbers if there are issues with the park.

12. Prior to the date of use, all registered food trucks must have an updated inspection on file with the East Central Florida Fire Prevention Association. This can be obtained from any Fire Department in Volusia County and is valid for 12 months. Please contact the City of Port Orange Fire Marshal with questions or concerns. wcrider@port-orange.org

13. All food vendors must be in compliance with health department rules and regulations for serving.

14. Vendors must adhere to park operating hours which are dawn to dusk each day. Setup and cleanup will not be allowed outside of park operating hours.
